VISIT MON REPOS
On the coast of Bundaberg is Mon Repos, the largest turtle rookery in the South Pacific. Each year from November to March, people from around the world travel to Mon Repos for the turtle encounter tour, guided by QPWS Rangers.
Watch as mother turtles hurl themselves up sandy dunes to nest their clutches of eggs before returning some weeks later to witness baby turtles erupt from their nests and journey down to the sea on a Mon Repos Nightly Turtle Encounter.
